Blackstone BBQ Chicken Quesadilla Introduction

Are you looking for a perfect meal to please everyone at your table? Then try out this delicious Blackstone BBQ Chicken Quesadilla. This quesadilla combines flavorful griddle-grilled chicken, creamy monterey jack cheese, and a sweet and spicy bbq sauce all wrapped up in tortillas to create a smoky, zesty quesadilla. If you’re looking for a change of pace, try substituting the bbq sauce for different styles, like hot and smoky, garlic and herb, or even honey sriracha to give your quesadilla a different flavor profile.

Ingredients

• 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
• 1/4 cup Blackstone sweet & spicy bbq sauce
• 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
• Salt, to taste
• Olive oil, for cooking
• 4 large flour tortillas
• 2 cups diced monterey jack cheese

Instructions

1. Preheat a large griddle to 400 degrees F.

2. Rub the chicken with garlic powder, and season each side with salt to taste.

3. Drizzle the chicken breasts with a few drops of olive oil, then place on the preheated griddle. Cook chicken for 4 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

4. Remove chicken from the griddle, and shred with a fork or kitchen knife.

5. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken with the blackstone sweet & spicy bbq sauce.

6. Grease the griddle with a thin layer of oil.

7. Place two of the tortillas on the griddle. Top each tortilla with half of the bbq chicken and half of the monterey jack cheese evenly distributed across each quesadilla.

8. Place the remaining two tortillas on top of the quesadilla, and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tortillas are golden brown.

9. Gently flip the quesadilla with a spatula, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the quesadilla is golden brown and the cheese is completely melted.

10. Cut each quesadilla into 4 wedges, and serve hot.
