Crispy and Delicious Blackstone BBQ Chicken Thighs Welcome to my Crispy and Delicious Blackstone BBQ Chicken Thighs recipe! This is one of my favorite weeknight meals. Not only is it incredibly easy to make and super tasty but it can also be prepared with different flavor profiles to satisfy everyone’s tastes.

For a delicious classic flavor, you’ll need:
– 2 pounds of boneless skinless chicken thighs
– 2 tablespoons of olive oil
– 1/4 cup of light brown sugar
– 2 tablespoons of paprika
– 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
– 2 teaspoons of onion powder
– 1 teaspoon of chili powder
– 1 teaspoon of black pepper
– 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
– 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
– 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional

For a more smoky flavor, switch the garlic and onion powder for 1 tablespoon of chipotle chili powder.

Once all the ingredients are ready, here’s how you make the dish:

1. Preheat the Blackstone griddle over medium heat.
2. In a large bowl, mix the olive oil, brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, black pepper, oregano, smoked paprika and cayenne (if desired).
3. Place the chicken thighs in the bowl and toss to evenly coat in the mixture.
4. Place the chicken onto the griddle and cook for about 4-5 minutes until golden and crispy. Flip the chicken and cook for another 4-5 minutes.
5. When cooked through, transfer to a plate and serve with a side of steamed broccoli and quinoa, or roasted potatoes and carrots.

A helpful tip for cooking the chicken evenly is to press down on the thighs with a spatula or an egg ring while they cook, making sure they get nice and crispy.

This recipe also works great as an easy weeknight meal when served with a side of freshly-made coleslaw and oven-roasted potatoes or as an alternative to traditional fried chicken when served with a side of creamy mashed potatoes!

Finally, this is a great way to switch up common weeknight meals by adding different sides and flavors, while still keeping it healthy. You can also add different seasonings depending on what flavors you and your family enjoy most. Enjoy!
